Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: August 2026
The Posting Party is built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is our target standard for the European Accessibility Act, EN 301 549, the ADA, AODA, and comparable rules — one standard, applied everywhere our partners are.
What conforms today
- Tap targets sized for one-handed phone use, focus always visible and never hidden behind sticky elements
- Countdowns are a polite, coarse live region — never an interruption every second
- Comment starters are copy-to-clipboard with a visible, selectable text fallback
- Completion is signaled with an icon and a word, never color alone
- The dwell timer floor can be skipped on request — a floor, never a wall
- Invite codes and name codes are pasteable — no retyping from memory
- Dates are written unambiguously (e.g. "Wed 5 Aug"), and every deadline is shown in your own local time
What we're still working on
- A full automated accessibility check (axe or equivalent) in the build pipeline
- A dedicated keyboard-only and screen-reader pass across every screen
- Full interface string externalization for translation, and a right-to-left layout pass
